Honestly a phenomenal bar, I love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and the drinks are hella cheap. Admission into this bar is limited to Yale Graduate students and their guests unless there's a special event.

This is cozy and welcoming place. This Yale owned bar is exclusively for people aged 21+(YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PRESENT ID AT THE DOOR) but not exclusive to just Yale affiliates. It has a lower floor with a full bar, stalls, tvs, and pool tables. The upper floor has a big room for dancing and various other events. Every Tuesday of 2019 , there is a bachata dance lesson at 8pm, salsa dance lesson at 9pm,and then open dancing until 11pm by Baila Con Gusto and the Yale Salsa Society . The pool tables are also free to play, and the bar has drinks specials. The bartenders are very kind and attentive, recommend checking this place out if you are looking to participate in different events, (every day of the week has a variety of specials and activities), or if you just want to pass the time among some Yale folk.

Best place for Yale grad students to go spend week nights also! If u are part of the student government body, then its 1 dollar drinks on Thursday including non alcoholic options for non-drinkers! Please dont forget to tip the bartenders!!

My graduate life so far would have been so incomplete had gypsy not existed. It is a wonderful place to chill with your fellow peers from the graduate and professional schools. My favourite is the Karaoke night they have on Friday. They have different things on different days (trivia on Monday etc) Offer cheap alcohol too. Must go♥️

A pub that admits only Yale graduate students/affiliates and their guests. The staff (also Yale grad students) are extremely friendly and professional, and the drinks are insanely cheap, with even cheaper drink specials available every night. There's an impressive rotating craft beer selection as part of the full bar. The beautiful back patio is a great place to kick back with friends when the weather's nice. And the second-floor ballroom hosts group events, wine tasting, etc. during the week and dance parties on the weekends.

Fun place to spend an evening/night. They offer lots of different theme nights during week ranging from pub quizzes to karaoke and free beer. Definitely a must visit, but you can only get in if you are associated with Yale or come with a friend who is.

Great place to get a vodka sprite and hang out with other grad students!
